Access your Remesita account with TOTP authentication after setting up your OTP factor

How to use your TOTP authentication in Remesita

If you have already set up two-factor authentication (2FA) with a TOTP token on your Remesita account, but don't know how to use it, don't worry. Here we explain step by step how to do it.

What is TOTP?

The TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) is a 6-digit code that changes from time to time and will help you protect your account. Now, every time you log in to Remesita, you will need this code in addition to your password.

Step 1: Log in to Remesita

  • Open the login page from Remesita.
  • Choose a way to log in, either with Phone or Gmail.
  • Start the flow as usual until you find the security code step. .

Step 2: Enter the Authentication Code

  • You will see a form that asks you for an authentication code .
  • Open the authenticator app that you configured previously (can be 2FAS Auth, Augis, andOTP, or Google Authenticator).

Step 3: Generate and Use the TOTP Code

  • Open the authentication app on your phone or tablet.
  • Find the profile you added for your Remesita account.
  • Copy the 6 digit code that appears in the app (remember that this code changes every few seconds).
  • Enter the 6-digit code in the Remesita authentication form.
  • Click "Validate" or "Accept".

Step 4: Secure Access

  • If the code is correct, you will be redirected to your Remesita account and that's it!
  • Your access is now protected with an additional layer of security, ensuring that only you can access your account.

Remember

  • TOTP code changes every few seconds , so make sure you use the current code.
  • If you have some problem , check that your mobile device has the time set correctly, as time synchronization is crucial for TOTP.

And that's it!. If you need more help, do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you!
