How do the REMESITA PAY service limits work?

At Remesita, all services are subject to daily, monthly and number of operations limits.. These limits vary depending on the level of the customer's account: the higher the level, the higher the limits available.

Limit reset

  • Daily limits: They reset automatically at the beginning of each day.
  • Monthly limits: They reset at the start of a new month.

Commissions for payments to businesses

If you use Remesita to make payments to a business, they will pay a commission for processing the transaction. However, the merchant has the flexibility to decide how this commission is assumed:

  • You can include it in the total cost that you pay as a client.
  • The business can assume it directly.

Benefits depending on your account level

Depending on the level of your account, Remesita may offer commission waivers on certain transactions. This means that:

  • Some transactions will be free of charge to you, even if the merchant prefers that you assume the commission.
  • Once you exceed the set limit, additional fees may apply, depending on the merchant's policies.

Scope of limits

These limits only affect payments made to third-party merchants on their own websites or mobile apps. 

With this structure, Remesita ensures flexibility and control for both users and businesses that operate with its service.
